Colin Doss is entering his 1st season at the helm of the Mohawks Men’s Basketball Program. Doss, one of the youngest collegiate basketball head coaches in the country has put together an impressive resume not only at the collegiate and high school levels but the international level as well. He brings excitement, enthusiasm, and intensity to the first year program.

Doss comes to Pensacola after previously serving as the Head Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Brescia University an NAIA program in Owensboro, Kentucky. While at Brescia, he was primarily responsible for recruiting, scheduling, scouting, and player development helping guide multiple Bearcats to River States Conference accolades during his time. 

During his time as a collegiate coach, Colin has also worked in the international basketball realm as he was the Head Coach for Team USA U16 in the 2024 United World Games and also the Assistant Coach for Team USA U19 taking home the 2023 United World Games Gold Medal. During his time overseas in Austria, Italy, and Germany. Doss has defeated the likes of Austria, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Slovenia, Spain, and Mongolia. 

Colin has also previously worked directly with Marquette University in the summers behind the scenes as well. “Being able to be in the gym with such great talent like Tyler Kolek and Kam Jones and learning from Shaka Smart will forever be my favorite memories as a coach” 

Colin got his start in coaching in the AAU realm as the Director and Head Coach of Kentucky Supreme AAU where he and his father (Stuart) coached the program sending over 25+ players to play college basketball. Doss played college basketball at Webster University (NCAA Division III) in St. Louis, Missouri. His hometown is Greenville, Kentucky where he graduated from St. Mary High School.
